The first monthly specialized Peace & Sports meeting hosted by the Peace & Sports Commission of the National Olympic Committee and Payam Noor Shahriar University was held virtually with the presence of commission members and those interested in this topic.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The first meeting of the series of monthly expert peace
and sports meetings with the topic of introducing the phenomenon of peace and
sports from different dimensions was held on as a webinar. Dr. Hamid Ghasemi, the Commission Chair stated: “Considering
the reason for the existence and the mission of the peace and sports
commission, in addition to the official meetings it holds with the presence of
its members, this commission has recently held specialized meetings in Peace
and Sports for the public and on a monthly basis so that those who are
interested can get to know more about the phenomena and dimensions of subjects
such as communication, diplomacy, sociology, psychology and religion”.
