The 2nd Medical Commission meeting of the National Olympic Committee was held in the presence of NOC Secretary-General and the members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In the second
meeting of the medical commission of the National Olympic Committee, the draft
regulations of this commission were reviewed and summarized. Also, the important headings of the Medical
Commission's calendar until the Paris Olympics 2024 were discussed and decided
so that the members can express their opinions in the next meetings. Next, the necessary forecasts were made in order
to hold international seminars in the field of sports medicine, which are
scheduled to be held in Kish next spring.
In this meeting, the NOC Secretary General pointed out the important role
of the Medical Commission and attention to the athletes' need for up-to-date
knowledge regarding sports supplements and doping, and the importance of the
Commission's role in maintaining and improving the health of athletes
participating in events related to the National Olympic Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the appointment letters of the commission
members were given to them by the NOC secretary-General and the Commission
Chair.
