In preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, the NOC held a coordination meeting with Archery, Table Tennis and Cycling federations.

Khosravi Vafa, the NOC President, at the beginning of these meeting highlighted:
"The purpose of holding these meetings with the presence of officials of
the NOC and the Ministry is that the plan of the federations to obtain the
quota, the necessary forecasts, requests, expectations and concerns get in line
with achieving the desired goals for Paris 2024, be discussed and relevant challenges
be identified”. He further continued: "Certainly, the Sports Ministry and
the NOC are trying to solve the concerns and inject the necessary aid to the
federations in order to achieve their goals in line with support policy”.
Dr. Seyyed Manaf Hashemi,
Secretary General and Spokesman of the National Olympic Committee, also pointed
out: “We have had numerous and productive meetings with different federations
and we were able to target our support based on their information while examining
the status of the federations”.
