While paying visit to National Sport Olympic Paralympic Museum, Abdollah Rahmanzadeh was hosted by the NOC President, Mr. Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa.
Iran NOC; Tehran: During this
meeting, Mr. Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, the NOC President, while welcoming the
Minister of Sports of Tajikistan, stated: “Iran and Tajikistan have a lot in
common in various fields, such as language, culture, and customs. These
historical commonalities and common cultural heritage foregrounds any kind of
cooperation easier, especially that we have a memorandum of cooperation and we
are fully prepared for any kind of communication in the direction of the growth
and promotion of each other's sports.
“Our National Olympic Academy is
one of the important and main sports centers of the country in the field of
education and training, and we can cooperate well with each other based on your
needs with the cooperation of federations in exchange of coaches, joint camps
and training courses. Especially as we noted in Hangzhou that your boxers got
good results” added the NOC President.
In addition, Dr. Seyed Manaf
Hashemi, Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee, while welcoming
the Minister of Sports of Tajikistan, highlighted: "Definitely, the two
countries of Iran and Tajikistan can have a strong cooperation in sports thanks
to their common language and historical and cultural affinity. In order to
increase the friendship between the two countries, the National Olympic
Committee is ready to host sports teams and even coaches or graduates of this
country in various areas such as sports psychology, sports management, sports
medicine and other fields”.
Further, Abdollha Rahmanzadeh,
the Tajikistani Sports Minister, while expressing his satisfaction with his
trip to Iran, said: “I have been to many countries, but I told my friends that
if I don't go to Iran, it means that I have not gone anywhere, because we
always consider you as our brothers. I did not feel out of place and I am
grateful for your good treatment and hospitality”.
