12th Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation GA Holds

Iran NOC; Tehran: The ISSF General Assembly was held in Riyadh with the presence of Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, the President of the National Olympic Committee, presidents and representatives of more than 50 member countries where Riyadh was decided as the host to the 6^th ISSF Games in 2025. It was also decided that the ISSF elections be held at the same time as these games. Also, in this meeting, changes were made in the constitution of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation in selecting members of the executive board, selection of commission members, conditions for choosing the host and some other matters, and were approved by the members. The budget of this federation for 2024 compared to the year 2023 was doubled and the Saudi government approved its payment. Another decision was to change the logo of the federation, which was approved. Also, on behalf of Saudi Arabia’s officials, after the conclusion of the General Assembly, some presidents, officials and representatives of national Olympic Committees and international federations attended the opening ceremony of "Saudi Games", which is held in the Olympic and Paralympic disciplines.
