The 11th meeting of the Women and Sports Commission of the National Olympic Committee was held with the majority of members and guests.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, Dr. Farhadizad, the Commission Chair, while welcoming the members,
started the meeting by honoring the memory of the late Mina Fathi, a veteran of
Iranian volleyball who had a medal in the Asian Games, and then the three
agendas of the commission were discussed. The agenda included an analytical
report of the Para Asian Games shared by by Dr. Kazemipour, Vice President of
the National Paralympic Committee and Vice President of Women's Sports
Development, who discussed the participation of women in the last four editions
of the Para Asian Games and praised the role of women in winning second place.
Solidarity courses, athletes’ protection and holding National Women’s Sport
Conference were the other items processed by the Commission members.
