The 27th meeting of the NOC Executive Board was held with the presence of members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: At the end of
the meeting, which lasted for three hours, Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, Secretary
General of the National Olympic Committee, told the reporters: “Today was the
first meeting after the Hangzhou Asian Games, where it was decided to add
approvals for the next week’s meeting after examining various issues regarding
the Asian Games and especially the upcoming Olympics. But a detailed report
from the last 8 and 9 months regarding issues such as the identification of
athletes, support and technical matters with the federations and a report on
the results of the delegation was presented, although most of the members were
in Hangzhou except for one or two”. The Iranian NOC Secretary-General
highlighted that National Olympic Committee would extend support and continue
planning and preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games and also called for
further activities and cooperation on behalf of national federations for better
results in the next edition of the Asian Games.
