Mohammad Rahbari, the Iranian National Sabre Fencer was defeated by his rival from Korea and earned a valuable bronze medal.

competition of the Asian Games in Hangzhou was followed by holding the
semi-final matches. At this stage, Mohammad Rahbari faced "Oh" from
South Korea and a 25 to 11 loss, he failed to advance to the finals and ceased
to bronze medal. Iranian Fencing in the previous edition of Asian Games won a
bronze medal by Ali Pakdaman in individual section.
