Ali Pakdaman, the Iranian National Fencer representing in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou was the 24th player to carry the Games Torch as per the rituals of the pre-opening ceremony.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The torch-bearing
ceremony of the opening ceremony of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou started
yesterday morning in different parts of Zhejiang province and the host city,
and in the turn of the representative of the Iranian sports delegation, Ali
Pakdaman, the Iranian National Fencer carried the torch for some meters. This
program will continue until the moment when the main torch is lit in the main
village of the games (place of the opening ceremony) and besides the representatives
and champions of China, representatives of 45 countries of the old continent
will also participate in it.
