The 1st Meeting of the Policy-Making Council of 14th International Sports Film Festival was held with presence of all members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, with the presence of Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, the NOC President, and
with the signature of Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the NOC Secretary-General, the
members of the Policy-Making Council of the 14th International Sports Film
Festival received their appointment letters. It was decided to hold the
festival with the support of the National Olympic Committee and the
participation of other related institutions, especially the Cinema
Organization, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, IRIB and Tehran Municipality. In
this meeting, the establishment of the permanent secretariat of the festival in
the National Olympic Committee was emphasized and the call for the 14th
festival was also approved. The International Sports Film Festival of Iran is
the exclusive representative of the World Federation of Sports Films (Ficts),
which is held in order to hold competitions among filmmakers, program makers, to
discover young talents and to introduce creative figures.
