Iran NOC; Tehran: Saeed Esmaili
in 67 kg, Nasser Alizadeh in 87 kg, Mohammad Hadi Saravi in 97 kg and Amin
Mirzazadeh in 130 kg won gold medals, Puya Dadmarz in 55 kg, Mohammad Reza
Rostami in 72 kg and Rasul Garmsari in 82 kg won silver medal; and Amirreza
DehboZorgi and Iman Mohammadi won bronze medals in 63 kg. In the team ranking,
Iran became the champion by 200 points, while the teams of Kyrgyzstan stood
second and third by 144 points and Japan with 142 points, respectively. The Asian
Championship was hosted by Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.
