During the Weightlifting World Cup in Thailand, Mostafa Javadi, the Iranian 89kg Weightlifter managed to book his spot for Paris 2024.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Mostafa Javadi lifted
the 160 kg weight in the 89 kg category and in snatch, he withdrew from the
next two moves, and in this move, taking into account the results of other
groups, he was placed 16th. According to the world ranking and at the
discretion of the coaches, he refused to do his next two moves, but he was able
to win the quota for the Olympic Games. Iranian national weightlifting team has
participated in these competitions with the presence of 4 weightlifters targeting
3 Olympic quotas. Ali Davoudi, Ayat Sharifi and Dehdar are the other athletes
