The 34th meeting of the NOC Executive Board was held with presence of all members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The Secretary-General
of the National Olympic Committee highlighted about the approvals of this
meeting: “The first order was about the indicators of the new year credits. We completed
a proper task last year and the NOC set an index to help the federations.
Finally, we reached the indicators and criteria with the members of the
executive board, including that NFS which have won medals in past events must
be specially considered. We will consider these criteria and indicators with
some changes for the next year as well. The main program of our next year is
the Paris Olympics, Asian Indoor Games in Thailand and the Winter Olympics. Of
course, for the Nagoya Asian Games, we have also made predictions about how to
plan for these events”. The NOC Secretary-General further reported about the
delegation’s uniform, budgeting issues, and the past coordination meeting about
the Asian Indoor Games. Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, recently elected as the
Vice-President of Kabaddi International Federation; also held: “As you know,
the president of the Asian Kabaddi Federation is an Iranian and he is
interested in more Iranians having positions in the International and Asian
Federation so that we can defend the rights of this discipline at the international
level”.
