Mehrdad Alighadrashi, the President of Iranian Table Tennis Federation and Executive Board Member of National Olympic Committee was elected for his third term of office in electoral assembly.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The electoral
assembly of the Table Tennis Federation chaired by Seyyed Mohammad Shervin
Esbaghian, the Deputy of Ministry of Sports and Youth, Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi,
the NOC Secretary-General and the main members of the assembly was held. Mehrdad
Alighardashi, unopposed, won 56 votes out of 57 votes for the third consecutive
term at Table Tennis Federation. In the continuation of the assembly and
according to the constitution, the elected president of the federation had to
introduce seven members of the board including 2 vice presidents, 2 experts,
and a treasurer where all candidates obtained the required votes, as well.
