Emphasizing the necessity of paying attention to the timing in the compilation of the document on the territorial planning of sports in order to achieve sports justice in the country, the President obliged the Ministry of Sports and Youth to collect information and compile this document within a maximum period of 4 months.

Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian President participated in the first meeting of the Higher
Sports and Physical Education Council in the building of the Ministry of Sports
and Youth. He considered the philosophy of forming this council to be a
combination of the authority and facilities of all institutions that have a
mission, responsibility and capacity in the sports and clarified that: “the
main responsibility for sports in the country rests with the Ministry of
Sports, but various institutions such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of
Science, Research and Technology and the armed forces, which have very good
sports capacities, are required to be coordinated internally for more
appropriate use of these capacities”. Different cabinet ministers and members,
some NFs’ president, NOC President and Sports Minister participated in this
meeting.
