In commemorating the anniversary of the World Champion, Gholamreza Tkhti, the Iranian National Sport Olympic Paralympic Museum will unveil a new document related to the said legend which belongs to more than 60 years ago.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this letter
which highlights the administrative mission of Takhti in 1960 due to
participation in Rome 1960 Olympic Games, the Iranian Governmental Railway has certified
that Gholamreza Takhti’s activity would count as a sport duty for participation
in the Olympic Games. The letter was issued on 16 August 1960 addressing Takhti
as the clerk of Education Organization on behalf of Planning Organization.
