The 9th meeting of NOC Sports & Environment Commission was held in the presence of members and invitees.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, there were discussions regarding the revival of the memorandum of
understanding between the National Olympic Committee and the Islamic Azad
University, Science and Research Branch, the formation of a joint working group
for the feasibility of creating a new field with the content of sports and
environment at the master's level in the Islamic Azad University, informing the
related federations for holding the Clean Air Week ceremony in January,
planning to visit the new site of the Olympic Park in District 22 of Tehran
Municipality, holding a training workshop in cooperation with the Tehran
Science and Research Branch, preparing the necessary documents to be submitted
to the relevant authorities with the aim of including the Damavand National Day,
in the calendar of the country, holding a joint meeting with scientific and
specialized associations active in the field of natural resources and watershed
management, etc., as well as preparing a call for production of sports and
environment animation in the form of a competition for the Olympic week.
