Members of the national Youth Ski team, along with federation officials and coaching staff, met with Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee, and Dr. Nasrollah Sajadi, the Advisor to the president, before departing for the fourth edition of the Youth Winter Olympic Games. The meeting took place at the National Olympic Committee.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, the NOC Secretary-General expressed his best wishes for the success of
the representatives, stating, "We do not expect medals or outstanding
results. Nevertheless, considering the current capabilities in skiing,
facilities, and even our natural conditions, may not currently provide the best
conditions for our skiers. However, we expect our representatives to be worthy
ambassadors for our dear homeland from the outset and achieve better results
than the previous edition. This will pave the way for future growth, an
increase in rankings, and perhaps even the chance for medals in the near
future."
