Fatemeh Mojalal, the Iranian Female Rowing National Team member managed to secure the valuable Asian gold medal.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The Asian Under-23 and Youth Championships was
held in Pattaya, Thailand. In the continuation of the competition, Fateme Mojalal
competed in the women's under-23 heavyweights single Rowing in the A final against
opponents from Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines and Sri Lanka,
and in the end, she stood in first place with 9:07.445 minutes and won the gold
medal. In this decipline, the representatives of Hong Kong and the Philippines
were second and third respectively.
