Members of the Olympic Games Headquarter met each other in their first gathering chaired by Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, the NOC President.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this meeting, while stating the issues pursued in
their field, the invitees discussed the details of logistics, international,
monitoring center and other affairs within departments and sections. In the
end, referring to the Hangzhou Asian Games, the President of the National
Olympic Committee highlighted: “The average score of the delegation
(headquarter members) and the results of the athletes in Hangzhou were good.
For the Paris Olympics, the conditions are completely different both in the way
the staff work and in predicting the results of the athletes. The opportunity
of 8 months until the games is very limited. Participating in the Paris
Olympics is an opportunity for the country's sports, and we hope that with the
actions that the National Olympic Committee, Federations and the Ministry of
Sports will put on the agenda, we will be able to have a decent presence”.
