At the end of nineteenth meeting of the NOC Executive Board; Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the NOC Secretary-General reported on the approvals.
Iran NOC; Tehran: At the end of
the 19th meeting of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee, the
Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee stated to the journalists: “In
today's meeting, which was held with the presence of the majority of members,
many discussions and issues were discussed and approved, and one of the main
issues raised was the appointment of Dr. Farhad Sadr as the National Olympic
Academy Director, whose appointment to this position took place at the proposal
of the NOC President and the approval of all members of the Executive Board”.
“Another important topic of
meeting was the appointment of two NOC Commissions Chairs; Mr. Mirhadi Qare
Seidromiani, the Legal and Parliamentary Deputy of the Ministry of Sports and
Youth, was appointed as the Chair of the Legal and Sports Commission, and Mr.
Seyed Shamsoddin Hosseini was elected as the Chair of the Resource Development
and Marketing Commission” further added the NOC Sectary-General.
The Spokesperson of the National
Olympic Committee pointed out: “Among the other topics of the 19th meeting of
the Executive Board was the final selection of the new logo for the National
Olympic Committee, which after four months of various communications, reached
the final conclusion and was approved by the Executive Board, which will be
sent to the IOC in the coming days”. Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the NOC
Secretary-General also highlighted some issued regarding the Iranian delegation
to be sent to Hangzhou Asian Games.
