According to the Public Relations of the NOC Ethics Commission, on the occasion of Organ Donation Week, the secretary and a group of members of the Social Responsibility Committee of the Ethics Commission, along with Vahid Shamsaei and Mohammad Ansari (Football & Futsal veteran players), went to visit the children hospitalized at the heart transplant department of Shahid Rajaei Hospital.
Iran NOC; Tehran: This visit,
carried out by the NOC Ethics Commission, the assistance and cooperation of
Iranian Organ Donation Association and Shahid Rajaei Hospital, was done in
order to raise awareness and promote the culture of organ donation, as well as
comforting families waiting for treatment on the transplant list.
In the course of this spiritual
program, Dr. Mahdavi, Senior Pediatric Cardiologist, while thanking the
representatives of the sports community, explained the conditions of the
children in the payment section and emphasized on humanitarian and benevolent
action of the country's Sports Ethics Commission and on the presence of effective
and well-known individuals in promoting organ donation leading to betterment of
the action as a culture.
At the end of this visit, gifts
were presented to the children present in the organ transplant and
hospitalization departments of the hospital.
