Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the NOC Secretary-General and Spokesperson gave a report on the 8th meeting of the Executive Board in answering the questions from the media.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Secretary
General of the National Olympic Committee, while expressing his satisfaction
with the victory of the Iranian National Football team against Wales in the
FIFA World Cup, said: “At the beginning of the meeting, a report was presented
by myself and the Treasurer of the NOC, which mentioned the details”.
Referring to the Asian Games and
the upcoming Olympics, the Spokesperson of the National Olympic Committee highlighted
the focus of the Executive Board to obtain acceptable results in these two
events and added: “For the time being, we are looking for new developments, and
to this end, all-inclusive support to the Olympic federations will be
provided”. The NOC Secretary-General then briefly went through the report on
activities of the NOA, National Teams Monitoring Center and the NOC Commissions.
