The Iranian Women’s representative participating in Asian Handball Championship secured the World Championship spot after the third win in row.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In the
continuation of the Asian Handball Championship, the Sang Ahan Bafaq Handball
team, which represented the Iranian women's national team in the event,
succeeded in defeating the Australian national team by 43-15 in its third match.
By this win, being placed among the top four teams, the Iranian representative will
advance to the World Championship for the second time in the history of Senior
Women's Handball. Before this, the national Handball teams in senior men and
women, cadet’s girls and boys, youth girls, youth and beach senior categories had
already won the quota to participate in the world championship, and in this
way, in the continuation of the success for Iranian Handball, has won in the
last two years by the eighth qualification to the world championship.
