Following the holding of various Olympic Day ceremonies, the Olympic and Children ceremonies were held in the presence of a group of families with their children in the open area of the National Olympic Academy and two separate halls.
Iran NOC; Tehran: On the occasion
of the "Olympic Day", a special program for Olympic & Children
was held at the National Olympic Academy with a group of children and their
families and in the presence of the officials of the National Olympic
Committee. Part of the special was attended by Ms. Taherian, Vice-President of
the NOC, Dr. Nasrullah Sajjadi, Senior Advisor to the NOC President, Dr. Gaini,
Chairman of the Olympic Solidarity Commission, Peyman Fakhri, Director of the
National Teams Monitoring Center and Chef de Mission of the Hangzhou Asian
Games.
At the beginning of the program,
the message of Thomas Bach and Dr. Salehi Amiri was played, followed by five
Olympic rings and a flag parade by the children. Children and invitees then got
involved with special programs to promote the Olympic principles and values.
