The meeting of the Athletes’ Commission of the National Olympic Committee was held in National Olympic Committee.

Bidarian, the spokesman of the Athletes’ Commission, said: "At the
beginning of the meeting, the members of the Commission congratulated Hadi Saei
on his election as President of the Taekwondo Federation and wished him
success, and then Mr. Nodehi, Secretary of the Commission, presented a report
on the previous meeting. After various discussions between the members, it was
decided to prepare a plan by the Athletes’ Commission and submit it to the IOC through
the NOC in order to use its annual budget. It was also decided that the
Solidarity Sports Management Courses be held for those champions who have the
necessary conditions. Bidarian further specified: The Commission decided to
have a meeting with Mr. Abtahi, CEO of the Fund for the Supporting of Champions
and Veterans, so that if possible, one of the members of the commission would
be a member of its Board of Directors for more coordination”. One of the issues
raised at the meeting was to invite an insurance expert to follow up on how to
insure athletes so that he could give the necessary solutions, and it was also
suggested that in a letter to the Executive Board of the National Olympic
Committee, if possible, an independent budget for this commission in be
considered.
