The Iranian Men’s Volleyball National Team bagged the championship title in the Asian Volleyball Championship.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The final stage of the 21st Asian Men's
Volleyball Championship was followed by eight matches hosted by Japan and in
the city of Chiba. The Iranian National Volleyball, which had reached the final
contest after defeating China in the semi-finals, went against the host Japan and
overwhelmed them by 3-0. The Iranian Vollyeball won the final in three consecutive
sets with scores of 27-25, 25-22 and 31-29 to gain the 21st Championship
Cup with seven consecutive wins and conceding only one set. Previously, the
championship title was won under the leadership of Julio Velasco in 2011 and
2015 and Igor Kolakovic in 2019.
