The webinar for Chefs de Mission of Asian Martial Arts and Indoor Games 2022 was held with presence of NOC Secretary-General.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
webinar, which was attended by the officials of the Olympic Council of Asia
(OCA) and the Organizing Committee from Thailand and the representatives of the
National Olympic Committee of 40 Asian countries, the officials of the
organizing committee presented a report on their preparation and how the
competitions will be held. The preparation of the competition venues, the
accommodation of officials, judges and athletes, transportation, preventive
issues related to Covid-19 and testing every 3 days, the calendar and place of
the competitions, were the most important issues discussed in this webinar. These
competitions will be held in 31 sports and 305 events, of which, two sports; Aerial
sports and Teqball, are organized as demonstration. 305 gold, silver and bronze
medals will be distributed in these games and it is expected that 5 to 7
thousand athletes from 45 Asian countries will participate in the event. The
Games will be held in March in Bangkok and Chonburi, and the Organizing
Committee, while presenting its report and answering the questions of the
representatives announced its readiness to hold the Games.

Secretary-General, Peyman Fakhri, Director of National Teams Monitoring Center
and Farid Fattahian, Director of NOC International Relations Department
participated in this webinar.
