Farzaneh Fassihi, Iranian sprint runner, stood in second place in the Belgrade Indoor Competitions in the 60-meter dash.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Farzaneh Fassihi, the Iranian record
holder in the 60 meters indoor, entered the field in the last competition of
the 2021 Indoor season and won the silver medal with a record of 7.37 seconds.
Salome Kora from Switzerland was placed first, Milana
Ternanic from Serbia held third and representatives from Slovenia, Croatia,
France and Bulgaria were placed further.
It was the last major European IndooCcompetition of the
season, and featured athletes from Sweden and Mundo Doplantis, who won the 2020
Athletics Award for Best Athlete.
