Meeting of the NOC Sports and Environment Commission was held by the presence of all members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting focused on sympathy with the
environmental liaisons of the federations, concluding a tripartite memorandum,
a ceremony honoring the festival's top scientific works, appreciation of sports
and environmental activists which was participated by NOC President, Dr. Seyed
Reza Salehi Amiri.
NOC President held: “What has happened in the environmental
record within the last few years deserves appreciation, because it is a great
honor to hold 33 meetings by this commission. The Sport and Environment
Commission is an efficient commission that is one of the top three in its
efforts and seriousness. The Sports and Environment Commission plays an
important role in Iranian sports and has the ability to hold international
scientific festivals in cooperation with the IOC and OCA, because we have great
potential at the scientific level”.
He continued: "This commission can go beyond sports by
creating data streaming at the national level. Also, the Sports and Environment
Commission has the ability to form a major environmental center at the national
level as a civic institution, and to expand its activities at the national
level while carrying out its missions, and we will provide the necessary
support”.
In the end, Dr. Salehi Amiri expressed: “I appreciate every
member of this commission who works with effort and motivation”.
