The 11th meeting of the Peace and Sports Commission of the National Olympic Committee was held at the National Olympic Committee.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In the meeting
of the Peace and Sports Commission, which was held with the presence of all
members, the issue of holding a peace and sports webinar in March 2021 was
discussed, in which Dr. Salehi Amiri, the President of the National Olympic
Committee, will speak.
Hamid Reza Azizian, Director
General of the Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the General
Directorate of Prisons, was also present at the meeting and discussed the
process of concluding a memorandum of understanding between the organizations. Improving
the conditions of prisoners and the assistance that the National Olympic
Committee can provide to prisoners were also discussed at the meeting. It
should be mentioned that Dr. Tayebeh Mohammad, Director of the Association of
Ambassadors for Peace and Friendship, was also present as a guest at the 11th
meeting of the Peace and Sports Commission.
