Iranian Taekwondo Premier League held with presence of participating teams.
Iran NOC; Tehran: There were 4
teams in the 1st group: Shahrdari Varamin, Mese Kerman,
Esteghlal and Fath Sadr Alborz and 4 teams in the 2nd group:
Farmaniyeh, Abadan Petroleum Refinery, Parsian Alborz, Islamic Azad University
and CAN Home Appliances.
The 1st and 2nd group
competitions of the 19th Iranian Taekwondo Premier league were held by
Iran Taekwondo Federation. In the 1st group, "Mese Kerman" and
"Esteghlal Tehran" entered the final . In the next group CAN Home
Appliances and Farmaniyeh entered final section.
In these events about 187 male
taekwondo athletes participated. All the taekwondo competitions cancelled due
to pandemic of Corona virus since March,2020. The managers of Iran Taekwondo Federation
decided to resume competitions in safe and secure condition, for all athlete,
coaches and referees primarily tested for COVID-19 infection no more than 2
days although they were in quarantine. The health and safety guidelines applied
in all parts of competitions. The final games will be held in March 2021 and
winners in four places will receive certificates.
