76th EB Meeting Held

Iran NOC; Tehran: at the beginning of the meeting, the situation of the camp of different Olympic teams participating in the Olympic qualifying competitions was discussed. Other important competitions ahead and major issues of the country and the need for the necessary support to sports federations, especially Olympic disciplines, were also talked over. Holding the 48^th General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee was discussed and views were exchanged. It was decided to hold the Assembly in the form of a webinar and in person; to observe the health protocols and the necessary considerations, so if a member of the assembly could not attend for some reason, these conditions would be provided to him in the webinar.

Regarding the final report of the budget index of 2021 for sports federations by Seyed Abdi Eftekhari, EB Member and Chairman of the Planning Commission; which was approved in general, the above report will be presented and approved in the assembly.The plan will be piloted for the federations and will be reviewed later next year after investigations into possible weaknesses and making possible corrections.

Also, some requests were received by the NFs and a final decision was made about them. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, appreciating the efforts and honors of Ms. Sepideh Tavakoli, the valuable Athletics champion of our country, presented a Plaque of Appreciation and gifts.
