Iran National Taekwondo Team started the new round of its training camp and World Taekwondo Center.
Iran NOC; Tehran: According to the National Teams Organization, Armin
Hadipoor and Mir Hashem Hosseini are the two Taekwondo Olympians of our country
and Sajjad Mardani, Soroush Ahmadi, Farzan Ashourzadeh, Amirsina Bakhtiari,
Mehran Barkhordari and Seydomid Hosseini are the other members who will present
at this stage of the camp. These athletes are led by Fariborz Askari as the Head
Coach and Ali Mohammad Bashaq as the Coach.
Fariborz Askari, the Head Coach of the national team, stated: “in the
new stage of training, we have invited athletes to attend the camp, but this
has not been done due to their performance in the Taekwondo League but based on
the criteria which are important for the Olympic Games”.
"We have closely monitored the league competitions and identified
the taekwondo fighters who have shown their ability; we will continue to use
these people to attend upcoming events” added the Head Coach.
