Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of Iran National Olympic Committee visited the Bowling and Cue Sports Federation along with Executive Board Members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: At the
beginning, Hashem Eskandari, President of the Federation, welcomed the NOC
President and members of the executive board and appreciated their presence and
explained the plans being implemented.
Hashem Eskandari stated: “The positive
thing is that during these years Iran has promoted from the 42nd place
in the world to the 2nd place in the men's section and the 9th
place in the women's. In all 31 provinces, we have activated the sport and we
have reached to 3,000 sports complexes in the country”.
Then, the President of the
National Olympic Committee, appreciated the bowling and cue sports family and highlighted
that the main reason for visiting the federation was to appreciate and thank
the hardworking staff.
Dr. Salehi Amiri stated: “In
terms of the nature of psychology and its relaxation, this sports can be
considered and expanded in the neighborhood, city, etc., of course fortunately
the record of this federation has been very brilliant, I believe we should seek
peace and avoid tensions. The Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports and the
NFs must move with this policy. We must create the necessary conditions for
security and peace in the events and federations”.
