Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, President of Iran National Olympic Committee held a meeting with Athletics Federation accompanied by NOC officials.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, President of the National
Olympic Committee of our country, met with the officials and members of the
Athletics Federation and closely was informed of the issues and problems.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hashem Siami, President of the
Athletics Federation explained about the measures taken in the last three
months and the future plans of the Athletics Federation. In the continuation,
Ali Rezaei, Acting Secretary of the Federation, explained the executive
conditions of athletics to the President of the National Olympic Committee and
his accompanying delegation
Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri added: “Among the basic and medal-winning
disciplines of athletics, our only hope is that they can definitely claim their
right in the world arenas. We have to accept the fact that winning medals in
team disciplines is an honor, but athletics has a special share in winning
medals and can take us to the most ideal point in sports”.
It should be stated in this meeting: Dr. Kaykavos Saeidi, Secretary
General of the National Olympic Committee, Peyman Fakhri, Director of the
National Teams Monitoring Center, Majid Kayhani, Executive Board Member,
Mahmoud Abdollahi, Public Relations Director and Hamid Reza Salami, Director of
Protocols accompanied the President.
