The 75th Meeting of NOC Executive Board was held with presence of Dr. Salehi Amiri, the President.
Iran NOC; Tehran: At the beginning of the meeting, the latest
situation of the different Olympic camps and issues related to the preparation
of athletes to participate in the qualifying competitions for the Tokyo Olympic
Games were reviewed and the report of the Management and Planning Commission on
credit distribution indicators for the next year was presented by Seyed Abdi
Eftekhari.
In this report, the generalities and framework of these indexes were
approved and it was decided that after receiving the proposed and corrected
opinions of the EB Members, the final draft be presented in the next meeting by
Chairman of the Management and Planning Commission.
Also, in the continuation of meeting regarding the financing of the delegation
being sent to the Tokyo 2020 and other events of 2021, issues were raised and it
was decided to make the maximum necessary efforts to attract the required
financial resources through the sponsors by the relevant units.
It is noteworthy that in line with the policy of maximum support for
the NFs that are in the program of the Olympic and Asian Games, and considering
the need to provide the necessary and essential sports equipment, it was
decided after obtaining a list of important requirements of the Olympic and
Asian federations special considerations be taken into account. In the end, the
request of a number of Olympic federations that are preparing their national
teams was examined and it was decided to provide the necessary financial
support to participate in the Olympic qualifying competitions.
