The 6th meeting of Sports and Environment Commission was held with presence of all members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting of the Sports and Environment Commission
was held in two parts. In the first part, Dr. Mehrafza Manouchehri (Chair of
the Commission) and Dr. Hooman Bahmanpour with cooperation of the NOC Public
Relations prepared and recorded an educational-promotional video about Sports
and the Environment.
In the second part of the meeting the representative of Abu Reihan
Pharmaceutical Company highlighted joint activities with the Sports and
Environment Commission while presenting some health products of the company.
Following this meeting, Mr. Zamiri discussed the principles and
considerations of the National Olympic Committee in publishing a book that has
been translated and prepared to be published by the Commission.
Ms. Mehrani, the Director of the Olympic Solidarity Unit, also spoke
in detail about sports and environmental projects and made suggestions in this
regard. Dr. Manouchehri, Chair of the Commission and members, explained the
measures taken and the progressive programs, and finally discussed the issues
that need to be considered in writing the final proposal so as to prepare
4-year performance report.
In the final part, Dr. Sadeghi (Head of HSE of Tehran Municipality
Sports Organization) and Hamid Nematian (representative of Sports for All Federation)
attended the meeting and explained the plans of the above-mentioned
organizations and discussed the possibility of joint projects with the
commission.
In the end, it was decided that the Sports and Environment Commission in
cooperation with the mentioned organizations prepare the relevant instructions
and standards, and also to use their capabilities in future programs.
