A specialized meeting of NOC Sports and Active Society Community was held with presence of NOC officials and members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this meeting, which was Chaired by
Mohammad Alipour, all members were welcomed and were given a full explanation
of the nature of the commission and its goals in sports for all and the
irreplaceable role of the Sports Commission.
Also, Dr. Kaykavos
Saeidi, Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, highlighted the importance
of the meeting and that creating this important issue in the Iranian society in
line with the Olympic Charter, would have a key role in community and family
health.
The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee
stated: “selection of the members of the commission is smart and all of them
are experts in Sports for All, and its development is one of the important
goals to witness its valuable activities in line with the goals of the Olympic
movement”.
Following this meeting, Dr. Abdul Hamid Ahmadi, Deputy
Minister of Sports for All Development of the Ministry of Sports, explained the
important role of the Sports Commission and the Active Community in the level
of health and mobility in society. Members also discussed the regulations of
this commission and announced their views and the regulations were approved by
the members.
