74th Meeting of the NOC Executive Board was held with presence of NOC President and all EB Members.
Iran NOC;
Tehran: As per the report released after the meeting; it was decided to hold
the 48th NOC General Assembly by 21st of January 2021.
However; due to
the current sensitive situation, it will be held as a webinar but if the
conditions change by the time of the assembly and the situation improves, it
will be held on the same date in the presence of members in the Iran NOA.
The 74th
meeting of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee was held with
presence of Dr. Salehi Amiri and all members in compliance with health
protocols in Hall No. 1 of the National Olympic Committee.
At the
beginning of the meeting, the President of the National Olympic Committee gave
a report on his recent trip to Muscat, Oman, the venue of the OCA General
Assembly Session and Executive Board Meeting. President Salehi Amiri
highlighted that he had meetings with officials of the Olympic Council of Asia,
presidents of Olympic Committees of other countries, international federations
and advisors. The constructiveness and usefulness of these meetings for the
country's sports were emphasized and pointed out.
Then, the
financial performance audit report in 2019 was presented in detail, which was
reviewed and approved by the members. At the end, the auditor of 2020 was also
appointed.
The report on
the government's proposed budget for the 2021 was also presented by the Acting Treasurer,
including 2021 resources and expenditures, which was considered.
