Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, President of National Olympic Committee left Tehran for Muscat in order to participate in the General Assembly of Olympic Council of Asia.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The General Assembly which has been hosted
by Oman Olympic Committee will begin with presence of some members in person
and virtually for those unable to present due to covi-19 travel restrictions.
The General Assembly and of the Executive Board Meeting of
the OCA will be held from Monday to Wednesday this week in Muscat, Oman. Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of our National
Olympic Committee, along with Dr. Nasrollah Sajjadi and Peyman Fakhri, Iranian
Chef de Missions to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Sanya2020 Asian Beach Games and
Farid Fattahian, Director of the International Relations Department will take
part in the meetings.
According to the plan, our country's sports officials, in
addition to attending the meeting of the General Assembly and the Executive
Board of the OCA will hold specialized meetings, too.
Also, the officials are scheduled to meet with officials of
the Olympic Council of Asia and several of their Asian counterparts.
