The 1st Specialized and Smart Golf Magazine was unveiled by the presence of NOC officials.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The magazine
which is initiated by Iran Golf Federation covers different topics from the
golf news to domestic and international events. The Smart Magazine has started
its work as the most widely circulated sports magazine in the country with one
million electronic and 2000 printed copies.
Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, the
NOC President participated in the unveiling ceremony through videoconference
and stated: “I virtually attended the ceremony due to the observance of the
protocols and accept my apology for not being present in person. I hope the
situation returns to normal. I sincerely thank Golf Federation for its serious
activities. Golf is program-oriented and that makes me proud. Iranian sports
and all federations should have a think tank, and golf is at the forefront in
this regard. The NF is moving forward and we support this federation. The most
important need of sports is its socialization. Golf should also be socialized.
In the context of the golf community, advertising should be felt as a
necessity. Golf is attractive and can bring spiritual and social vitality”.
Dr. Kaykavos Saeidi, the NOC
Secretary-General who participated in the ceremony also held: “I appreciate this
cultural movement. The Golf Federation has undergone good developments which is
indicative of planning and thought”.
Dr. Salehi Amiri and Dr. Saeidi
were awarded Honorary Journalist Cards at the ceremony.
