Iranian Deaf Chess Player Stands 2nd in the World
The Deaf World Chess Championship online tournament ended with the second and third places of our country's athletes in the women's and youth sections.

Iran NOC; Tehran: according to Deaf Sports Federation; the first online tournament of the World Deaf Chess Championship was held in the women's and youth sections and Mojdeh Ghazanfari, Iranian deaf lady from Fars province, won the second place with 12 points.

In the youth section, Armin Rahmatpour from Gilan province came in third with a score of 11.5 and Pouria Jamali from Isfahan province came in fourth.

Participants in the adult section will compete next Saturday (October 17th).
