The 69th meeting of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee was held in accordance with the health protocols and it was chaired by Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, NOC President.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting
focused on the 10-year Strategic Plan of the National Olympic Academy and was
attended by members of the Executive Board and Dr. Mahin Farhadizad, Deputy
Minister of Women's Sports Development, Dr. Ahmadi, Deputy Minister of Culture
and Sports for All of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Dr. Davarzani,
President of the Volleyball Federation and Dr. Ramin Tabatabai, President The
Basketball Federation were guests of the EB Meeting.
Dr. Gharakhanlou, Director of the
National Olympic Academy, continued the discussions of the previous meeting and
presented a strategic plan with a vision and 10-year horizon of the academy.
The above-mentioned programs emphasized on updating the activities of the
academy based on the developments that are taking place in the world of sports
where the NOC President emphasized on the necessity of evolving and changing attitude,
programs and activities.
Finally, it was decided to send
the draft issues of the above program to the NFs for comments, so that after
receiving the views and suggestions of the presidents of the sports
federations, they will be included in the third draft to present the 10-year
plan of the academy to the Executive Board.
