Iran's Taekwondo and Para taekwondo Olympic male athletes have started their trainings, with two male Taekwondo Olympic qualifiers, Armin Hadipour and Mirhashem Hosseini along with two other national team athletes, Sajjad Mardani and Amirhossein Bakhshi attending the camp.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Taekwondo team athletes have passed corona
virus screenings before entering the training camp. Iran's Para taekwondo males
athletes who qualified for Tokyo Olympic 2020, Mehdi Poorahnama and Asghar Azizi
also took part in training camp.
Iran’s Taekwondo training camp was canceled last year due to
COVID-19 pandemic. Now the athletes have started their trainings under the
supervision of Fariborz Asgari and Payam Khanlarkhani as head coaches.
It is highlighted that Iran Taekwondo Federation obtained
the permission to hold the training camps from the national authorities.
