For the first time in the sports history, a few pages from Gholamreza Takhti’s diary was unveiled at National Sport, Olympic, Paralympic Museum.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Concurrent with 92nd birthday of
the Iranian Wrestling legend, Gholamreza Takhti, some pages of his diary which
includes his own scripts and memories from different occasions were publicized.
The pages describe his leisure travel to the south and the related expenses in
1955. It is highlighted that after the inauguration of the Sport Museum, a
special space has been allocated to Gholamreza Takhti where visitors can find
personal belongings, diary, sports costume, etc.
