Islamic Rep. of Iran Golf Federation succeeded to win 2 international positions at World Minigolf Federation.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The efforts
made by the International Relations Department of Iran Golf Federation resulted
in obtaining two seats at World Minigolf. Mr. Mehrdad Jamshidi, the NF’s
Secretary-General and Mr. Mojtaba Safipour, the NF’s Intl. Relations Director
were respectively elected as Member of Development Committee and Sport for All
Committee. This is said to be the first ever positions at the world Minigolf governing
body for Golf Federation. The Iranian elected members have been asked to strive
for Minigolf development and provide key supports and programs for the sport in
their countries plus positively contributing to the World Minigolf Federation.
