In compliance with health protocols; the 66th Meeting of the NOC Executive Board was and was attended by Dr. Salehi Amiri, NOC President.
Iran NOC; Tehran: EB Members discussed and exchanged of views on
the recent events regarding the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the letters
received from the Organizing Committee and the International Olympic Committee.
In contention, Dr. Reza Gharakhanlou, the NOA Director, presented a
detailed report on the performance of the Academy regarding the activities in
recent months that referred to the pre-determined programs and goals of the
National Olympic Academy the majority of which has been implemented and
administered.
The limitations caused by the outbreak of Covid19 and the NOA
approach in holding online and virtual courses were also outlined.
Acknowledging the efforts
and services of Dr. Gharakhanlou and his colleagues Academy, NOC President expressed
satisfaction with the activities carried out during the pandemic.
Following the sixty-sixth meeting of the Executive Board, a number
of requests received from the Olympic federations were reviewed and the
necessary decisions were made in this regard.
