Iran NOC has decided to hold virtual training camps and online educational courses for qualified athletes.
Iran NOC, Tehran: the meeting on the issue was held by the presence
of NOC key figures in order to review the ups and downs of the idea which had
been proposed by Mr. Peyman Fakhri, Director of NOC National Teams Monitoring
Center. Covid-19 global pandemic postponed the Olympic Games and its domestic
outbreak has led all sport activities to a lockdown; therefore, the NOC has
decided to relax the pressure by keeping the qualified athletes involved
through virtual training camps and online courses. The camps’ objective is to
have the athletes resume their professional physical and mental condition and
also prevent from their fitness fall out.
