Iran NOC, Tehran, July 22, 2019: Iran Junior National Taekwondo
Team which participated in the 10th Asian Cup maintained its
champion title by winning a total of 10 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze medals and
scoring 179 points. Home of taekwondo, Korea stood second and Uzbekistan finished
third in male category. Iranian male junior players won 5 gold, 4 silver and 1
bronze medals.
In the female category, the Iranian junior players defended their
previous championship title by 5 gold and 2 silver medals; the Chinese became
runner up and Koreans ended up with the third title.
The Iranian National Cadet Team was sponsored by Bank Saderat in
this edition of the event.
